The ALS attempts to provide new and information on the
progress of the libertarian movement in Australia. If

- The ALS (ACT) again met for a libertarian dinner, at Timmy's in
Manuka. Guests included representatives from the Federal Treasury, ACT
Treasury, jounalism, consulting and business groups. The next ACT libertarian
dinner will be held in late July - further details can be requested at
- The CIS will be hosting Fracis Fukuyama in August. More information can be

- The federal government has commissioned a review of the copetition
provisions of the Trade Practices Act (basically reviewing how much power the
ACCC should have in determining business practices). The webpage can be found

- The Fraser Institute (in Canada) has recently released the latest edition

moment. Libertarians have two partie to consider, the principled and more
